An unconsciousness protects a mean person.

We consider the case where a person of fine character and a person of mean character compete in society.

If it considers from the position of a competition principle, the person of mean character is beaten by the person of fine and should disappear.

However, it lives on the same rate as the human being of various character in every era.

How should we just consider this?

When the higher rank person of ability plays a match against a low rank person in the game of chess, pieces are cut down and a handicap is attached.

We also consider social life that the same matter performed.

The handicap in this case is "the standard of virtue and vice."

We already described that there were a politician, a manager, a senior bureaucrat of a company, etc. among the persons of mean character.

Since they have power and financial ability, they are considered to be social strong men.

However, with the measure of unconsciousness, it has made neither power nor a social status a problem at all.

Only the difference in character makes it the only measure.

And if character is low-grade, unconsciousness will work in the direction which eases the conditions of virtue and vice.

Even though they do a quite wicked act, a result does not immediately appear.

Even though it is cursed by many human beings such, there are those who fulfill a long life to 80 or 90 years old.

However, when the evil deed which the person performed was tested by comparison to the character, it was tolerance level.

It happens that the person with fine character is completely contrary to this.

It dies, those who are seen only with a virtuous person because general being regretted.

In this case, it means that he checks to his character and had committed the evil deed more than tolerance level.
